Potassium carbonate is one of the important basic inorganic chemical, pharmaceutical and light industrial raw materials, mainly used in optical glass, welding electrode, electronic tube, TELEVISION picture tube, printing and dyeing, dyes, inks, photographic drugs, paofline, polyester, electroplating, tanning, ceramics, building materials, crystal, potash soap and medicine production. Used as gas adsorbent, dry powder fire extinguishing agent, rubber anti-aging agent. It is also used to remove carbon dioxide from fertiliser syngas. It can also be used as a potash fertilizer. With the development of high and new technology, the application of potassium carbonate in detergent additives, monosodium glutamate, food and other fields is also expanding day by day.
